The track team opened the season at Eastern Michigan University on Friday. The day was highlighted by the Girls' 1600- meter relay team of Taya Bolden, Mariah Perkins, Caramia DeGiulio, and Harper Peeples finishing second. The Girls' 800-meter relay team of Mariah Perkins, Azriel McCalister, Nia Jones, and Harper Peeples took 3rd while the Boys' 1600-meter relay of LaMark Johnson, Paris Rideout, Roy Haynes, and Jonathan Vasser, along with the Boys' 3200-meter relay of Johnson, Logan Armstead, Joseph Stevens, and Vasser, both took sixth place. Caramia DeGiulio also had a top-six finish individually in the 800-meter run.
