The track team ran at Whitmore Lake on Tuesday, with both teams placing 2nd. For the girls' team, both Mariah Perkins and Harper Peeples took 1st in two individual events, with Mariah winning the 100-meter and 200-meter, and Harper winning the 100-meter hurdles and 400-meter. The two of them partnered with Nia Jones and Azriel McCalister to win the 400-meter relay, and the relay team of Teagyn Taylor, Carli Bolden, Taya Bolden, and Caramia DeGiulio took 1st in the 800-meter relay. On the boys' side, Jaden McCalister won the 200-meter and placed 2nd in the long jump, while Mathias Neloms won the shot put. The 800-meter relay team of LaMark Johnson, Jonathan Vasser, Paris Rideout, and McCalister also finished 1st. The track team will be back to work on Friday at Livonia Franklin.
