The Cross Country team competed Saturday at the Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard Invite. The team saw 11 of its 14 athletes earn Personal all-time bests and one earn a season best. The ladies’ team was led by Avery Trepod in 45th place, running 22:30. She was followed by Ella Clarke in 59th, Abigail Salamon in 63rd, Caramia DeGiulio in 68th, and Azriel McCalister in 88th. The boys' team was led by Ryan Gunter in 74th place, breaking 20 minutes for the first time, finishing in 19:53. He was followed closely by Matthew Johnson in 75th, running a time of 20:08. Gary Smith finished next, followed by Andre Lewis, Ronin Seals, Logan Armstead, and Bryce Robins, all finishing with huge personal best times. The team competes Tuesday in the conference final at Whitmore Lake.
